Before Chicago house had a name, Z Factor were testing its boundaries on 1984's Dance Party Album. Jesse Saunders and Vince Lawrence pushed drum machines and wiry, Italo-tinged synths against disco and electro-funk, leaving plenty of rough-edged dancefloor energy in the grooves. 'I Am The DJ' sets out the manifesto; vocal and instrumental versions of 'Fantasy' show how flexible these early club experiments could be. Reissued on black vinyl LP.

We accept returns on vinyl records provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
