As the Dukes of Stratosphear, XTC stepped into the sounds and production techniques of 1960s psychedelia for 25 O'Clock (1985) and Psonic Psunspot (1987). Psurroundabout Ride gathers the two projects and their extra recordings into one collection, revealing the group's affection for phased guitars, elaborate arrangements and surreal pop melodies.
This 2026 CD + Blu-ray Audio edition contains the 2019 stereo album mixes and additional tracks on CD. The Blu-ray Audio adds Steven Wilson's 2026 Dolby Atmos mixes, 2019 5.1 and stereo mixes, original stereo audio, instrumentals and demos. The Blu-ray listing below follows the disc's published programme; alternate mix options apply to the main album material as indicated by the edition's specifications.
