This version of Phasmatis carries the same immersive Wizard Master album in a scarcer 100-copy run, complete with poster and insert. The music itself is all about texture and tension, with the band letting each riff circle until it turns genuinely hypnotic.
There is a strong sense of ceremony to the record, from the opening Preludio through to the closing Epilogo, but it never drifts into mere atmosphere. Know The Wizard and This Is Black Sabbath keep the set grounded in weighty, head-nodding psych rock.
