Atomic Bomb sounds as strange and sharp now as it must have done in 1978, with William Onyeabor fusing drum machines, synth lines and deep funk repetition into something totally his own. The title cut still towers, but the whole record holds up as a hypnotic suite, from Beautiful Baby and Better Change Your Mind through to I Need You All Life.
SIDE ONE:
1. Beautiful Baby
2. Better Change Your Mind
SIDE TWO:
1. Atomic Bomb
