Vigilant's Threads Of Memories unfolds as seven quiet, textural pieces for the Glacial Movements label. Dmitry Polivenko builds its wintry atmosphere from synthesizers, tape loops, field recordings and guitar, allowing sparse motifs and decaying tones to emerge and recede. From the opening Winter Has His House to Somewhere, the album stays focused on stillness and sonic detail.
