Cold Spring revisits the Chinese noise underground on this expanded edition of Noise, originally assembled in 2012 by artists from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Across two CDs, the compilation moves through abrasive electronics, feedback and uncompromising sound experiments from Torturing Nurse, Ronez, Wang Changcun, Li Jianhong and others. Seven additional pieces expand the earlier 15-track programme, with a mixture of archival material and newer contributions.
