Melborn finally gives proper space to an unreleased 1993 album from Detroit shoegaze group The Spectacle, one of the key names around that city's early 90s scene. Produced by Dave Fridmann, the record balances blur, melody and lift beautifully, with "Gorgeous", "Everlasting" and "Melissa Blue Eyes" showing how strong the songwriting was beneath the haze.

This translucent yellow pressing turns a long-shelved record into a welcome archival release rather than a footnote.

SIDE ONE:
1. Gorgeous
2. Plum
3. Everlasting

SIDE TWO:
