The Salt Collective build A Brief History Of Blindness around richly melodic guitar-pop writing and a guest list that never overwhelms the songs. There is a knowing power-pop sheen to the arrangements, but the record keeps an emotional pull that gives the bigger choruses real weight. A strong modern LP with plenty of character across both sides.

2. Waiting For The End Of Time (feat Jason Falkner)
3. Cloud To Cloud (feat Matthew Caws)
4. You Swallowed The Sun (feat Chris Stamey & Pat Sansone)
5. The Waiting Game (feat Aimee Mann)
