Recorded in 1974, The Ensemble Al-Salaam's The Sojourner brings together searching spiritual jazz, modal passages and soulful rhythmic interplay. The set moves from the title track and the Coltrane tribute 'Traces Of Trane' to the expansive closing 'Peace (Salaam)'.
This first-press limited Japanese CD edition from P-Vine is presented in a card sleeve and contains the full nine-track programme.
