Gravest Gravy opens the vault on The Cramps' October 1977 sessions at Ardent Studios in Memphis. Lux Interior and Poison Ivy lead a stripped-back band through early versions of songs such as 'Weekend on Mars' and 'The Natives Are Restless', capturing the rough rockabilly and garage-rock energy that shaped their first recordings.
The twelve performances are drawn from previously unreleased studio tapes and appear here on a single CD.
