Recorded in 1996 and finally surfaced in remastered form, Lost Recordings #1 catches Steve Bicknell in a lean, hard-edged mode that still sounds functional decades later. There is no filler in these eight cuts - just pressure, movement and a stripped sense of design that makes tracks like Basic Questions and They Speak hit with real purpose.
