Soon Forward, Slave Driver and Going Downtown stretch out in classic discomix style, then the flip turns to dub versions that put the rhythm section front and centre.
It is a crucial early Taxi album, and still a beautiful meeting point between roots songwriting and stripped-back studio pressure.
