Before Shoes broke wider with Present Tense, these late-70s demos had already nailed their gift for lean guitars, basement-pop hooks and bittersweet choruses. Pre-Tense: Demos 1978-1979 is rougher than the proper album, but that is part of the charm - the songs are direct, melodic and full of small details that power-pop devotees hang onto. 'Too Late', 'Hangin' Around With You' and 'Now And Then' are standouts.

Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
