Four sprawling pieces of groove hypnosis make 0 aa RIOT a particularly focused Shit & Shine record. Craig Clouse steers the project towards motorik repetition and the insistent pulse of krautrock, with abrasive edges, clipped rhythms and small shifts that reward close listening. Steve's Pool sets the extended pattern in motion, while Pyramid of Cylinders closes a record built for getting lost in the loop.
