Los Autenticos documents a classic early chapter of Peruvian chicha, where Shapis fused Andean melodic lines with electric guitar, tropical rhythms and cumbia's unmistakable pulse. Originally issued in the early 1980s, the album moves from the bright momentum of 'Borrachito Borrachon' to the beloved 'El Aguajal'. This reissue brings a foundational Latin dance record back to the turntable.
