Blues Approved is not a standard studio album so much as a posthumous survey of Sam Moss recordings drawn from different periods, which gives the LP a rough-edged, deeply human shape. What holds it together is Moss himself: a guitarist and singer with a direct feel for blues, soul and roots material, whether the setting is stripped back or pushed into full-band swing. That breadth is exactly what makes this archival release matter.
Rooster Blood and King Of My Hill open with purpose, If You See My Baby and Trying To Do Better keep the set grounded, and Nightflight Over Berlin gives the second side extra character. A rewarding blues collection with genuine depth behind it.

We accept returns on vinyl records provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
