Richard Thompson's 'Hippies, Thugs and Heroes' puts sharply observed characters, restless storytelling and his distinctive guitar playing at the centre of twelve new songs. From the opener 'Sorcerer's Apprentice' to 'Cocaine Walking, Booze Talking' and 'The Big Smoke', the album draws from both folk songcraft and electric rock.
This is the indie-exclusive CD edition with a signed booklet, confirmed against catalogue CDNW6627IE.
