Phil Seamen Meets Eddie Gomez is a sharp trio date built from standards but played with plenty of snap and character. Seamen's drumming drives the session without crowding it, Eddie Gomez adds elastic bass lines throughout, and the set moves easily from Salt Peanuts energy to the softer after-hours feel of Here's That Rainy Day.

SIDE ONE:
1. Night Train
2. Salt Peanuts
3. Corcovado
4. A Foggy Day

SIDE TWO:

2. Fish This Week
3. Autumn Leaves
4. Here's That Rainy Day
