Noel McKay fills Songs About Bad People with sharp-eyed Americana storytelling and a cast of thoroughly questionable characters. 'Artist Of Death' opens in a dark, theatrical mood; 'Pink Chandelier' brings warm, saloon-style country colour, and 'The Midas Touch' keeps the crooked portraits coming. The Spanish-language 'Fallaste Corazon' adds a striking change of pace to this eight-song set.
SIDE ONE:
1. Artist Of Death
2. Pink Chandelier
3. Strange California Days
4. Terrifically Vain
SIDE TWO:
