This is the Swedish death metal band Nirvana 2002 rather than the Seattle group, and the material has the right kind of underground filth to prove it. The LP pulls together demos, promo cuts, rehearsal recordings and a live track from 1989-91, so you get the scene in motion rather than a cleaned-up retrospective. The later remix material on side one only adds to the archive feel.
