Metropolis is one of those rap records that sounds fully built from the ground up - futuristic in its palette, but still rooted in hooks, bars and scene-setting detail. Namir Blade moves through anime references, low-lit soul textures and left-field production without letting the album lose momentum. Monday Michiru, Hypercar and Guts vs Griffith are obvious entry points, but the whole thing plays like a single late-night world. Pressed here on neon pink vinyl.
