Maxwell Farrington's self-titled LP has the feel of a debut that already knows its voice - dry wit, romantic melancholy and arrangements that keep shifting shape without losing the song. There is an easy charm to the French and English material here, but the record is stronger than simple mood music. "2am", "Weather" and "Shadow" all land differently, and the run through "J'aime Les Filles" into "Stay At Home" gives the closing stretch a lovely, bruised finish.

We accept returns on vinyl records provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
