Cool Jojo +4 presents Masayuki Takayanagi's Second Concept at the turn of the 1980s, with guitar-led Japanese jazz shaped by his post-free-jazz approach and a return toward Lennie Tristano and Lee Konitz influences. The original album was recorded in December 1979 and first released in 1980.
This remastered Hybrid SACD edition contains the eight-track album plus four alternate takes, for a complete 12-track programme. Its CD layer is playable in a standard CD player.
