Sunny Side Up catches Lou Donaldson in a hard-swinging February 1960 session that pairs his blues-rooted alto saxophone with Bill Hardman's trumpet and Horace Parlan's piano. This remastered Hybrid SACD edition presents the album in stereo and includes "Way Down Upon The Swanee River" as a bonus track.
