KIN - CD

On KIN, mezzo-soprano Lotte Betts-Dean and pianist Joseph Havlat explore folk melodies through art-song settings and newly commissioned works. Recorded in Edinburgh in January 2025, the programme brings together music by Britten, Bartók, Grainger and Vaughan Williams with contributions from Josephine Stephenson, Louise Drewett and Isabella Gellis. The 28-track Delphian recording crosses musical and geographical traditions while keeping the close interplay of voice and piano at its centre.
