Buenos Aires Blus is a rough-edged early-70s set where blues rock, acid-scorched guitar and a more exploratory streak all rub against each other. Even when the songs stretch out, the album keeps a heavy, street-level feel that stops it drifting too far into abstraction.
Toda De Gris and Linda Ciudad hit first, but the long pull of Las Palabras Y Los Gestos is a big part of what gives the LP its reputation. A strong reissue for anyone tracing Argentine rock beyond the obvious names.
