On Tales From My Hood, Kurupt and DJ Battlecat build a full-length celebration of hard-hitting West Coast rap. The standard black-vinyl edition puts the focus on Battlecat's bass-heavy, P-funk-informed production and Kurupt's voice. 'Me N The Boyz', 'Love Letter' and 'Gunna' show the album's range, with Snoop Dogg, Jane Handcock and RBX among the guests.
