Wyatt At The Coyote Palace is one of Kristin Hersh's most expansive records, originally released in 2016 and spread here across four sides of vinyl. The writing is restless and sharply observed, moving from hushed, skeletal pieces to songs with more bite and propulsion. Even at its most intimate, the record feels wide open, with Hersh letting melody and language pull against each other in a way only she really does.
