After two decades of electroacoustic exploration, Nightlife finds Koen Holtkamp shaping an intimate electronic world from modular synths that evoke plucked strings. Saxophone and flute from Matt Bauder, drums from Greg Fox and bass synth from Ben Vida open these ambient pieces into unusual ensemble conversations. Slow Fox Run and Northern Flicker capture its patient, finely detailed character.
