Hard Top gathers long-unissued 1975 recordings from South African alto saxophonist Kippie Moketsi and gives them the space they deserve across four sides. The set moves from hard bop drive to stretched, soulful improvisation, and the double LP format lets the sessions breathe naturally, from 'It Was A Very Good Year' and 'New Cambridge Blues' to the expansive 'I Can See Clearly Now'.

SIDE TWO:
