Kaleidoscope Suite 2 reworks material from Kenichiro Nishihara's recent catalogue into a full LP of remixes and alternate club angles. The source material stays melodic, but the guests and remixers shift the pace across crisp broken beat, soulful electronics and beat-tape warmth. Black Chiwawa's takes on 'Only Tonight' and 'Someone Like You', the DJ Mitsu The Beats version of 'Up All Night' and the Ynkmr(Blu-Swing) remix of 'Under The Sun' make this feel like a coherent follow-up rather than a loose appendix.
