New Babylon pushes Kayleth's heavy psych sound into a bigger, more cinematic frame without smoothing out the raw edges. Riff weight, space-rock colour and a strong sense of movement make the record feel built for side-long immersion, but the hooks are never buried. The Throne and The Giant's March come out swinging, while New Babylon's Wait and Pyramids give the second side a real sense of scale. A good one for listeners who like their psych rock loud and expansive.
