Bestiaria finds Mexican trio Karen Y Los Remedios pulling cumbia rebajada into a shadowy world of downtempo electronics and ethereal vocals. Across twelve songs, figures from mythology and folklore shape the record's shifting moods; 'Curandera', 'Ninfa' and 'La Bruja' are vivid entrances into that world. Issued here on translucent green marbled vinyl in a gatefold sleeve.
