Solid Air sits at the point where John Martyn's folk roots, jazz feel and late-night haze lock together perfectly. The title track gives the album its haunted pull, while the rest of the set moves between tender songwriting, loose groove and beautifully weathered atmosphere.
This is one of those records that never feels overstated yet leaves a huge impression. The playing is fluid, the arrangements breathe, and tracks like May You Never and I'd Rather Be The Devil show just how broad Martyn's language had become by the early 70s.

We accept returns on vinyl records provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
