The General is Jah Stone's second and final album, originally issued in 1980. Its ten tracks balance militant roots-reggae rhythm with a more soulful melodic pull, giving the record a distinctive place in a very small catalogue. This vinyl reissue brings the full album back across its original two-side sequence.
