Daytime Viewing 1979-1980 is an unusual and deeply compelling collaboration, built as a narrative poem set over a song cycle. Jacqueline Humbert's voice and David Rosenboom's production make the record feel theatrical, intimate and slightly disorienting in the best possible way, with the remaster giving this private 1983 release the space it deserves.
