Trumpet & Drum is an unusual and beautifully direct studio set built from trumpet, drum accompaniment and a program of American standards. Cut from the original 1975 master tapes, it has the open, unshowy feel of a private press jazz session where tone and phrasing do the work. Irving Bush keeps the melodies front and centre, giving familiar tunes a reflective, almost ceremonial weight rather than pushing them into big-band flash.

We accept returns on vinyl records provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
