Originally from 1993, A Forgotten Dream is a cold, heavyweight death metal album built on grim riffing and a strong sense of atmosphere. The record balances punishing directness with darker melodic turns, whether in To Each His Own Pain, the title track or the closing run through Tears Of Blood and And Darkness Shall Fall.
