On Öd, Institut Fur Feinmotorik turns eight prepared turntables into a restless rhythm machine, using everyday objects rather than conventional records. Six pieces of elastic pulses, friction, crackle and dubby suggestion document the collective's peculiar, tactile approach to electronic sound.
