High Places made a debut that still feels distinct: handmade rhythms, airy vocals and a playful sense of repetition that keeps the songs loose without letting them drift away. There is an off-centre pop instinct running right through the record, but the textures and pacing give it a more experimental edge than most indie releases from the same moment. The Storm, Papaya Year and A Field Guide make easy way in, though the whole LP holds together as a complete mood.

We accept returns on vinyl records provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
