Whispered Something Good is an elegant GS Schray set built around jazz guitar, but it never settles for a straight-ahead read of the form. The arrangements leave plenty of air around the playing, bringing in bass, synth, piano, drums and horns in ways that keep the record airy one minute and quietly expansive the next. Prelude For Probably and Gone In Amber are obvious highlights, though the whole LP works best as a single, unhurried drift from side one into side two.

We accept returns on vinyl records provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
