Grateful Dead's June 1971 visit to France took an unexpected turn when a planned festival was called off by rain. Instead, the band played at the Chateau d'Herouville, near Paris, performing a set that moves from the country-rock of 'Me & Bobby McGee' to extended live favourites such as 'China Cat Sunflower' and 'The Other One'.
This limited-edition two-CD release presents a restored and remastered recording of the 21 June 1971 performance. Issued in a digipak, it divides the 21-song programme between 11 tracks on disc one and 10 on disc two.
