Matsuribayashi Ga Kikoeru is the original soundtrack to the 1977 Japanese TV drama of the same name, and it plays like a concise rare groove set as much as a score. George Yanagi and Nadja Band move between theme variations, instrumentals and short cue pieces with a loose late 70s jazz-funk feel running through the whole LP. "Matsuribayashi Ga Kikoeru No Theme" is the anchor, but the Dream Racer and Stranger sequences are what give the record its shape.
