A shelved Blue Note session finally issued years after it was cut, Here To Stay catches Freddie Hubbard in razor-sharp company with Wayne Shorter and Cedar Walton. It has the bite and poise of early 60s hard bop, but the writing gives it real depth, from the spring in "Philly Mignon" to the measured pull of "Body And Soul".
SIDE ONE:
1. Philly Mignon
2. Father And Son
