On Mammoth, Flora Hibberd trades much of the soft acoustic feel of Swirl for an electrically charged sound. Modular synth textures, restless guitar and brass enrich ten songs, with guest voices including Sufjan Stevens and Kate Stables. 'Perfect Ripple', 'Ache' and the title track show this second album's volatile, vividly arranged character. Pressed on translucent chartreuse vinyl.
