The Bookends sits in the more reflective corner of Eric Gales' catalogue, but there is still plenty of bite in the playing. Originally released in 2019, it balances muscular blues-rock with songs that feel more open and searching, giving the album a strong sense of shape rather than pure flash.
The guests are well chosen - B Slade, Doyle Bramhall II and Beth Hart all fit the record rather than distracting from it - and tracks like "Something's Gotta Give" and "Resolution" carry real weight.

We accept returns on vinyl records provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within a further 14 days.
Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original sealed packaging, in fully resaleable condition.
We are unable to accept returns for opened vinyl records unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
