Originally released in 1977, Elegua is a compact but rich Latin jazz set, balancing open improvisation, rhythmic detail and an easy sense of flow across just four long-form pieces.
Tell Me A Bedtime Story and Extasis fill the first side with warmth and movement, while Planeta Pimiento and Mambo Ajeno make the second side feel deeper and more exploratory on this remastered reissue.
