Recorded in Poland in 1962, Jazz Jamboree 1962 Vol 2 catches Eje Thelin early, when his trombone lines were already pushing hard against straight-ahead forms without losing swing. The short running time gives the set a compact, live-wire feel that suits the quintet perfectly.
