The green-vinyl pressing of Cookie Happened gives Eels' latest collection a fittingly unusual presentation. Mark Oliver Everett's storytelling takes in frustration, humour and hard-won tenderness, moving between the snap of 'Cap In Hand', the oddball charm of 'One Rizzle, One Dazzle' and the searching close of 'The Way I Was Made'. Its restless guitar-pop and intimate moments feel unmistakably Eels. Supplied in a gatefold sleeve.
