Cookie Happened is the sixteenth Eels studio album, with Mark Oliver Everett returning to themes of memory, loss and appreciating the things that pass. Across twelve songs - from the opening 'Clobbered' to 'The Way I Was Made' - it balances the band's familiar characterful songwriting with a reflective look at change.
